MötleyCrüe are expected to publish details regarding their farewell tour at a January 28th event in Los Angeles billed as “RIP: All Bad Things Must Come To An End.”
Since 2013, they’ve been speaking openly about their farewell tour plans.
“It’s definitely for real,” singer Vince Neil told the Oakland Press last August. “We want to go out on top. As part of the fifth annual Alice In Chains & Friends Fantasy Football League Charity Auction, Alice In Chains has merge with nonprofit organization Music For Relief to auction one-of-a-kind articles and memorabilia to raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
The entire total of the auction’s proceeds will go toward helping the survivors and aiding Music For Relief in delivering medicine, emergency medical services, water, sanitation and disease prevention efforts to the 12 million people impacted by the storm.

The annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival has a contrasting lineup every year, but the event is not known for having a lot of metal acts. You’re more likely to see hip-hop artists like 2 Chainz, Snoop Dogg and Wu-Tang Clan or indie and alt rock bands like Mumford & Sons, Black Keys and Radiohead. But in 2014, Motorhead will be performing at Coachella.
The 2014 edition of the festival will take place over two weekends: April 11-13 and April 18-20 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The full lineup for this year’s festival has not yet been officially released, but Motorhead’s appearance was announced throughout the next tweet:
