paparoach

“Help”, a brand new song from PAPA ROACH, can be streamed below. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album, which is tentatively due later in the year.

PAPA ROACH singer Jacoby Shaddix told “The Scotty Mars Show” about the follow-up to 2015’s “F.E.A.R.”: “I definitely feel there’s a change in the sound of the band on this record, more so than in the past. Our goal was to go in and kind of shake things up on this record. This is our ninth or tenth album — I don’t even know now — and we just wanted to kind of go in there and freak it. So when we were picking producers, we wanted to go outside the box, so we picked these two young, up-and-coming producers from Los Angeles Nick [Nicholas ‘Ras’ Furlong] and Colin [‘Doc’ Brittain], and got in the studio with these guys...

Incubus Shares Lyric Video for ‘Nimble Bastard’: Exclusive Premiere

Incubus

Incubus is premiering the lyric video for its newly-released track “Nimble Bastard” exclusively on Billboard today (Feb. 17). And it’s literally fire.

While lyrics like “Has it come to this?/ We’re stuck in the weeds/ I get it, I’m not perfect/ I was never trying to be” move across the screen, a film reel slides through images of different scenes from skate parks, a studio session and even a pretty damn adorable dog. Eventually, the film begins to burn until a brick wall in the frame is all that’s left.

Speaking on the track, the band tells Billboard, “’Nimble Bastard’ was born of my fascination and loving envy for a couple of people in my life who have this kind of amazing adaptability...

DISTURBED is hoping to enter the studio by early next year to begin recording the follow-up to 2015’s “Immortalized”. Speaking to a German media outlet on February 15 before DISTURBED’s concert in Berlin, guitarist Dan Donegan stated about the band’s plans for the coming months: “Once we’re done [touring], I think everybody is gonna unwind a bit. We’re all gonna get home and spend some time with our families. And we’ll just let it come naturally.”

He continued: “I have a bunch of ideas that I’ll record on my phone or in the dressing room, and I’ll just save some riff ideas and readdress them later at another time, once we’re all in the right headspace for it. But anytime we’ve written, it always has to just come naturally, when we all feel that we’re ready...

You can now watch the full concert in the YouTube playlist below.

Support on SUPERJOINT’s recent U.S. tour came from BATTLECROSS and CHILD BITE.

Anselmo told Decibel magazine that SUPERJOINT was forced to drop the “RITUAL” from its name was “because there’s a bloodsucking leech out there who took advantage of a situation. But we’re all at fault as well for signing a document that basically has a zero sunset clause, meaning that this person is privy to a cut of any money a ‘SUPERJOINT RITUAL’ would make...
