La gente de High Voltage regresa a escena este sábado 29 de abril presentándonos un arrollador especial del aclamado grupo Australiano AC/DC.

Con su estilo y originalidad, la banda tributo a AC/DC en Costa Rica retorna al Jazz Café San Pedro en este 2017 ofreciéndonos un repertorio de lo mejor de la prestigiosa agrupación desde sus inicios, hasta su último disco, Rock Or Bust.

Ha sido desde el año 2014 en que High Voltage, de manera usual, ha venido desatando locura y emoción entre de los amantes del buen rock a través de shows de altísima calidad, cargados de luces, proyecciones en pantalla gigante y adrenalina pura en acción, por lo que es un evento que no debés dejar pasar!

During a recent Q&A session at Rock Fantasy Camp, Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell revealed that Layne Staley encouraged him to take on a more active role in singing lead vocals.

As Alice in Chains began to take charge of the ’90s alternative rock scene, the Seattle group dwelled further and further on their two-man vocal attack, conjuring some of rock’s most beautiful and unnerving harmonies.

“I had a pretty strong background in choir throughout junior high and high school,” Cantrell said, according to Alternative Nation. “I was like the president of my choir in high school. We used to perform acapella, four-part harmony acapella state competition type stuff, like Bartok, great classical type stuff, so kind of dark brooding harmonies and stuff like that.”

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut album, Godsmack are looking to perform the LP in full on the road in 2018. According to frontman Sully Erna, the decision to mark the occasion has delayed the release of a new record.

“We were going to drop a record this year. FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl’s mother has just released a new book titled “From Cradle To Stage: Stories From The Mothers Who Rocked And Raised Rock Stars”, which features interviews that Virginia Hanlon Grohl conducted with 18 rock mothers, including the moms of musicians like RUSH’s Geddy Lee and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE’s Tom Morello.

Also in the book are interviews with the mothers of BEASTIE BOYS’ Mike D, Miranda Lambert, MAROON 5’s Adam Levine and the late Amy Winehouse.

Chuck Billy, vocalist of the thrash metal band TESTAMENT, stopped by WSOU 89.5 FM in conjunction with the band’s appearances in the New York City area to talk music and more with station music director Mike Colantuoni. Just hours before TESTAMENT’s April 20 show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey, Billy spoke with the long-running metal and hard rock college radio station about the band’s latest album, “Brotherhood Of The Snake”, their tour with SEPULTURA and PRONG, the songwriting process and changes within the music industry.
